Hello again everyone! ^. .^ I'm back to my dusty gallery and bringing some possibly good news for all the nice peeps who once left "Blarg I want it" as a comment on one of my deviations! But before I get to the core of the subject, this entry could not start any other way than with a big ashamed apology for being absent and silent and unproductive and very mean to my watchers for the last couple of months, so here I go. If you, as a good lord, don't need any kind of apology or explanation, and just want to know how to get your hands on that Chrona or Karl figure, you can just jump to the good ol' bolded text down there. For the others, here's my story:

I, indeed, feel sort of awkward for literally not doing anything on DA since the end of March. I do have excuses though: from April to June I have been backpack travelling with two of my dearest friends through four of the most amazing countries I got to discover: Thailand, Lao, Vietnam and Cambodia. Don't get me started on how amazing those were, I could go on for days and we would never get to the actual point of this journal XD They were pretty damn awesome, though, I can tell you that. So I came back like one month ago, and since then my return to DA has been delayed by numerous things like the will to do something a bit more productive than wandering on the internet, such as learning japanese or preparing for my first anime convention with two outrageously talented artists who also happen to be two of my best friends (I guess one could tell that spending time with my friends was my main pastime the last three months, I'm not gonna complain. You could, though). Among all these constructive activities was one much less fun but just as necessary: the holy quest for a summer job. Though I did my best to start searching as soon as I had set foot on the french ground, it seems that all the jobs in the area had already been taken while I was eating spring rolls in the Angkor ruins. I'm not giving up on finding a fitting job until I have to go back to studies, but I have to admit that I might have to resort to other means if I want to get the money I need for my next long trip next year (the destination starts with J and ends with N and pwns everything =3)

Then the idea was brought to me by some friends and by reading the latest comments in my gallery: why don't I try to sell my creations, or take commissions? Actally I've been asked that question for quite some time, but my usual answer was that I didn't consider my works to be that valuable and that, anyway, sending my figures worldwide would be a real logistical pain.
Well, the latest problem has been sort of solved, as I managed to come up with a way to move my figures around without damaging them, and the question of whether or not I consider my works to be valuable should be left apart for the time being, now that selling them might be my only way to fulfill one of my close-future dreams. Actually, what really motivated me to try and sell my figures was the fact that, during my first anime convention I mentionned earlier, which was in fact one of the biggest conventions on the subject you could find in europe, known as Japan Expo, some people stopped by our small stand and asked whether or not my figures were for sale. I would usually say that they were not, but when people started proposing prices nearing or above 100€ (which would be around 150$, I guess) for some of my works, I had to consider again the possibility of selling them. I did not sell any of them yet, although some offers were indeed really interesting, as I wanted to take the time to estimate their actual value, wheter it is above or under the prices people gave me back then.

So this is where I need your help, and I want to stress out how helpfull your participation will be: I'm seriously considering selling my already existent works, and at the same time I might start taking commissions and keep doing so for one whole year if this proves to be efficient enough to pay for my next trip to Japan dreamland.
So what I'd like you to do is the following: if you ever considered buying one of my figures or commissioning me for a figure of your choice, please say in the comments how much you would be willing to give to make it yours =3 Just as a side note: though I love the "OMG I'd buy this for like 3 billions and three candypops!"-kind of comment, these are not going to help be there and I really need a serious indication on how much people who really want one would pay for one XD
If you're not interested in any of my figures but know a friend who might be interested, I'd love you fovever if you could tell them the next time you see them, and I'd love them too if they come here and give their opinion :3

There is one thing that I want to stress out, though: THE SALES OR THE COMMISSIONS HAVE NOT STARTED YET, I'm currently just doing what one could call a "market study" in order to decide wheter or not they will actually take place in the (very) near future. So you won't be signing up for anything if you give your opinion here, though if you do give an interesting price I might probably tell you first when I do decide to sell them or start taking commissions, if I do, so if you want one of my creations or a figure of your OC now would be a good time to let me know =3
For the people who are wondering which figures are candidates for sale and which are not, I'm considering selling Soul Eater Chrona and Ragnarok ([link]), Soul Eater Chrona-Pass ([link]), Cyrithh's Mizuno ([link]) and Unknown Person's Karl ([link]). Considering the later two, if the sale actually takes place I will first ask for their respective artists' permission to sell them. They are their creations after all =3

So I guess this sums it up rather well: if you're interested in a figure, existing or commissionned, and want me to send it to you, please let me know in my comments how much you'd give for it Though you probably all know that, these pieces are all unique and the time I spend on them accounts for several couple of hours each, so please consider these facts before estimating them to 20$ each, that would hurt XD Then again some of you also know that I don't consider my works to be like Michelangelo's, so I'm not going to ask you 1000$ for a Fimo figure XD (and no, you can't get a Michelangelo for 1000$, actually)
